When I started this blog, I decided to share my scrapbooking calendars in hopes that my readers might like them as well. The calendars provide a great family history, help me get photos and mementos in chronological order, and ensure each child has a sample of my handwriting, without my having to journal on each and every page. I fill them out, make color copies, and glue them in each of our 12 kids’ scrapbooks. I began using hand-drawn calendars in my scrapbooking way back in junior high, a practice I’ve continued for more than four decades now.
